Lapis Lazuli Sterling Silver Pendant

Lapis Lazuli a stone for royalty across many eras of history. Adorning pharaohs, kings, queens, tombs and carved into talismans jewellery and charms. It is also used as the original pigment of ultramarine, crushed into a fine powder for use in the most sacred artwork and illuminations.

This beautiful rough lapis lazuli stone is set in sterling silver. It has tiny flecks of pyrite throughout and a band of calcite on one side of the stone and due to the calcite inclusions is uv reactive under long or shortwave uv light.
